Meet the Designer
Jerry Hawthorne has been a professional game designer, inventor, and developer since 2005. He has worked on projects for Hasbro, WOTC, Z-man Games, and of course Plaid Hat Games. Jerry started working for Plaid Hat as a freelance game designer in 2009, became a full-time designer in 2017, and is now Plaid Hat Games' Creative Director.
Jerry specializes in narrative games for all ages and has designed such titles as Mice & Mystics, Stuffed Fables, Comanauts, Aftermath, and now Familiar Tales. In addition to gaming, Jerry enjoys family life, cooking, the outdoors, animals, and art.
